Cookies Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, mobile device or other internet-connected device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise a device, remember certain information and support features during a browsing session or on later visits. Cookies do not usually contain information that directly identifies you, although information associated with a cookie may sometimes be linked with personal information held by the website.

Ricky Casino may also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage and device identifiers. These technologies can perform functions similar to cookies, such as remembering preferences, measuring website activity, helping to detect unusual behaviour and supporting the delivery of relevant content.

Cookies may be placed by Ricky Casino or by selected third-party service providers that help operate, secure, analyse or improve the website. Third-party cookies are controlled by the relevant third party as well as by your browser and device settings. The use of these technologies may change as the website, services and technical requirements develop.

How long cookies remain

Some cookies are session cookies. These are temporary and are removed when you close your browser or end a browsing session. Other cookies are persistent cookies. These remain on your device for a period of time or until they expire or are deleted. The length of time a persistent cookie remains may depend on its purpose, your device settings and the service that placed it.

The cookies used on the website may fall into the following categories. A particular cookie may support more than one function, and the categories may vary depending on the pages, features and services you use.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for core website functions. They may help the website load correctly, maintain a secure connection, remember information entered during a session and support access to account or gaming features. They can also help protect the website against harmful activity, misuse and unauthorised access. Because these cookies are necessary for the operation and security of the website, they may not be available for optional opt-out through the cookie banner.

Preference and functionality cookies

These cookies remember choices and settings so the website can provide a more consistent experience. For example, they may remember language, display, region, accessibility or other preferences where those features are available. Disabling these cookies may mean that some preferences need to be entered again or that certain functions do not work in the same way.

Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, including which pages are visited, how users move through the site and whether they encounter errors. The information may be collected in an aggregated or statistical form and used to monitor performance, improve design, identify technical issues and make the website easier to use.

Security and fraud-prevention technologies

Cookies and similar technologies may be used to identify unusual activity, protect accounts, support age and identity checks where applicable, reduce fraud and help maintain the integrity of the website and its services. These technologies may collect information about a device, browser, connection or interactions with the website.

Advertising and marketing cookies

Where used and permitted, these cookies may help measure the effectiveness of marketing activity, limit repeated advertising, understand interactions with promotional content and present information that is more relevant to your interests. Marketing technologies may be operated by Ricky Casino or by authorised third parties. You may be able to control optional marketing cookies through our cookie settings or your browser.

Cookie information may be used for purposes connected with providing, securing and improving the website and related services. This can include remembering whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies, keeping you signed in where a feature permits this, supporting responsible account controls, maintaining website functionality and understanding how visitors interact with our content.

• Operating essential website and account functions.
• Maintaining website security and helping prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised activity.
• Remembering selected settings and preferences.
• Monitoring availability, speed, performance and technical errors.
• Preparing reports and statistics about website use.
• Improving content, navigation, products and user experience.
• Measuring communications, campaigns or promotional activity where applicable.
• Complying with legal, regulatory, licensing and responsible gambling obligations where relevant.

Cookie information may be combined with information collected when you use the website, such as account, device or technical information, where this is permitted and necessary for the relevant purpose. We handle information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy requirements. We do not use cookies to remove your responsibility to make informed and safe gambling decisions.

When you first visit the website, you may be shown a cookie notice or preference tool. This may allow you to accept optional cookies, reject optional cookies or select categories individually. Your choices may be saved using a cookie or similar technology so that we can remember them. If you change your mind, you may be able to reopen the preference tool through the website or clear your browser data and visit the website again.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, block or restrict cookies, and some browsers provide controls for individual websites. The method differs between browsers and devices, so you should check the relevant browser or device instructions. You may need to repeat your choices if you use a different browser, device or private browsing session.

Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect the website experience. Essential functions may not operate correctly, preferences may not be retained and some account, security or gaming features may be unavailable. Choosing not to receive advertising cookies does not necessarily mean that you will receive no advertising; it may mean that advertising is less tailored to your interests.

Some third-party services may provide their own controls for managing cookies or similar technologies. Ricky Casino does not control the settings, policies or practices of independent third parties. You should review their information if you want to understand how they use data or how to manage their technologies.

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website, the technologies we use, our services, legal requirements or operational practices. When changes are made, the updated version will be made available on this page and the effective date may be revised where appropriate. You should review this page periodically so that you remain informed about the use of cookies.

This policy does not describe every cookie or technology that may be used at all times. The precise technologies may vary by page, device, browser, account status and the features you access. Information about the handling of personal information, including your rights and available complaint processes, is set out in the Ricky Casino Privacy Policy.

If you have questions about this Cookies Policy or want to make a privacy-related request, please use the contact or support options made available on the Ricky Casino website. Do not include sensitive account, payment or identity information in a public message or an unsecured enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request involving personal information.
